School Schmool is back! Join us at Le Frigo Vert on September 4th from 1–5PM for an afternoon of connection, creativity, and care as we kick off the school year together. 🌛🌅



This year’s theme is rogue archives. Rogue archives are the ways our communities hold on to memory and knowledge outside of institutions. They resist erasure and honour the lived histories of Indigenous, Black, migrant, Queer, Trans, disabled, and low-income communities.



We want to connect with new students and community members, to offer a welcoming space where we can meet, share, and build together. You can pick up our new PWYC agenda ($0–$15), make bookmarks and buttons, enjoy free food, and spend time with very cool people. 🍀



⭐️ Our event will take place outdoors at Frigo Vert, which offers step-free access via a ramp and is located downtown. Masks are encouraged and will be offered. ⭐️

Les archives rebelles, ou « rogue archives » sont les moyens par lesquels nos communautés préservent la mémoire et le savoir en dehors des institutions. Elles résistent l'exclusion systématique et rendent hommage aux histoires vécues par les communautés autochtones, noires, migrantes, queer, trans, handicapées et à faibles revenus.



Nous souhaitons rencontrer les nouveaux étudiants et membres de la communauté, afin d'offrir un espace accueillant où nous pouvons nous rencontrer, partager et construire ensemble. Vous pourrez vous procurer un nouvel agenda PWYC (0-15$), fabriquer des signets et des macarons, déguster de la nourriture gratuite et passer du temps avec des gens très sympathiques. 🧸



✨✨Notre événement sera à l'extérieur du Frigo Vert, accessible via une rampe et situé au centre-ville à proximité des transports en commun. Les masques sont encouragés et seront offerts.✨✨

Hi! I will be starting up a weekly bookclub here in Montreal, I am thinking of having the first meeting at BMP, on parc av. Our first meeting will be on the 4th, schedules and location permitting, at 6pm!
