Across campuses in Canada and beyond, students organizing for justice on Palestine and Indigenous rights struggles are facing growing repression. University administrations are increasingly relying on surveillance, disciplinary tribunals, and private security with police collaboration to silence dissent and intimidate students.
Join Professor Ted Rutland (Concordia University) and author and activist Yves Engler (Candidate for NDP Leadership), as well as two student activist which are still being confirmed as panelists, for an evening discussion on the repression of student activism. Together, we’ll explore the universities role in policing political engagement and the historical roots and continuations of imperial and repressive tactics.
