Vigil and distribution PAJU Palestine:   TUESDAY MARCH 17 at  METRO BONAVENTURE

📣Join us on March 17th at 5pm, in the Hall Building 7th floor Lounge for Seed the Means of Production, a panel discussion on what transforming the university food system could look like, featuring several key actors from the Concordia food community! 🍴



Marlene Hale is an internationally renowned chef, activist, and filmmaker from the Wet’suwet’en Nation. Marlene is a board member of both the Hive Cafe Solidarity Co-operative and the Concordia Food Coalition.



Aaron Vansintjan is a Concordia faculty member and Policy Advisor at Food Secure Canada. Aaron’s research on national grocery options went viral following reporting by the Breach, and has since informed the policy platforms of multiple Canadian political parties.



Maria Jennett is a grassroots organizer, Concordia undergraduate student in Geography, and co-founder of the Spinach Collective, a free monthly dinner program that began in September of 2025.



August Hannah is grassroots organizer and the General Coordinator of the Bar Milton Parc Solidarity Co-operative, which launched its own free lunch program just last January. August is also a board member of SEIZE.



The panel discussion will be preceded by opening statements by Saila Noah and Erik Chevrier, and followed by a Q&A. The event will close with a solidarity dinner serving for all those in attendance.

Join us at Les Révoltes for a report back and presentation on the rapid response network and movement against ICE operations in Minneapolis and across the US.

Il n’est pas difficile de voir l’actualité et songer de la désespoir quant au futur des droits et vies LGBTQ+. Le mouvement de droite actuelle a les personnes trans en ligne de mire, et le fascisme gronde de plus en plus fort. La résistance queer est toujours autant présente et se mobilise contre les attaques sur nos existences. Lutter maintenant nécéssite de s'ancrer dans les mouvements historiques afin de commémorer les victoires et en tirer les leçons. En tant que communauté, nous ne devons de nous informer des systèmes politiques qui nous encadrent et comment nous pouvons y faire face.

Cet atelier a comme but d’informer sur les luttes LGBTQ+ historiques et courantes, ainsi que certains thèmes et fondations théoriques fondamentales à l’organisation queer actuelle.
