RadMedics is an activist medic group that hosts workshops on how to provide first aid in protest and street settings. The group is organizing a hands on experience for protest first aid, specifically focusing on moving people and dealing with chemical contaminants in the eyes. Bring a buddy, your first aid kits, and some clothing to be dragged around in! We'll have light snacks to have at the break et la traduction envers le français est possible, si nécessaire.

Contemplant les oeuvres de Frida Kahlo, la narratrice se confie à l'artiste. Non-maternité, révolte, fragilité du corps. Dans cette conversation imaginaire, deux femmes se rejoignent à travers le temps et les blessures. Une constellation de voix se tissent et se répondent. Toutes, elle résistent et se réinventent d'autres manières d'aimer, de désirer, d'exister.

Christine Gosselin est une autrice et rédactrice sportive vivant à Montréal. Ses écrits explorent les rapports entre le corps et la vulnérabilité comme force littéraire. Elle aborde les expériences invisibles ou marginalisées, notamment la maladie chronique et les injonctions faites au corps féminins. Elle a publié Larves de vie (Hamac, 2021), Regarder les coulisses se répandre (Hamac, 2023) et a co-dirigé 11 brefs essais sur le sport : allez au batte avec nos idées (Somme Toute, 2025).

In 1996, the Aboriginal Rights Coalition worked with Indigenous elders, Knowledge Keepers, and educators to develop an interactive way of learning the history most Canadians are never taught. The KAIROS Blanket Exercise was the result; an interactive and experiential teaching tool that explores the historic and contemporary relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in so called Canada. It has since been offered thousands of times and the fourth edition was released in 2016.

During this 2 to 3-hour workshop, participants step on blankets representing the land and into the role of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. They are guided by trained facilitators, including Indigenous Elders and Knowledge Keepers, who work from a script that covers pre-contact, treaty-making, colonization, resistance and much more. Participants read scrolls and respond to cues in the script. The KBE concludes with a debriefing, conducted as a talking circle, during which participants discuss the learning experience, process their feelings, ask questions, share insights, and deepen their understanding.
